'DOG' Forbid....PRESENTS!!!! BUT, when all is said and done, don't you really

like the holiday lights and music and fun and laughter and all that kind of stuff?

2. Like the lights, hate the music

Like the parties - as long as it's with friends, and not family.

Did I mention I hate the music? I think it bears repeating. 90% of "Christmas" music is godawful. Gives me a headache.

Presents are cool too, giving and receiving. =p

7. They usually feel like forced fun to me.

New Year's Eve especially (and even Super Bowl Sunday...hey, it's almost a holiday!). I think a lot of people try to have fun because it's expected of them, and I suspect many would be just as happy to stay home with a warm cup of cocoa watching tv or reading a good book.

I don't see why we need special days to embrace fun. :)
