Peter Wehner Sr. Fellow of EPPC.

he said the Iraq/Afghanistan wars have been good for our country. if wars are run well they help the US.

he said that most of the time 'talk' doesn't work and you have to use 'force'.

he smirked.

------

and then Rose Gottemoeller told a half truth. she of the Carnegie Moscow Center.

host asked why Russia sent a Navy group to Venezuela. she really didn't answer but to say that Russia wanted to show some muscle.

actually, the neo cons resurrected a US Naval unit and sent it to Venezuela waters to harass Chavez. so Chavez asked Russia for some help, etc.

Rose made it sound as if Russia was trying to make trouble and she tried to link it to Cuba. pshaw.
--------

then another guest compared the economy of the 70's the same as todays. which is nuts.

ho hum

1. This particular Liberal is learning that there are such things as BAD People.
I guess if the basic Liberal semantic lexicon is Inclusive, because that is what Liberals do, then I must modify my previous premise that some people are, not Bad, but only seriously "In Error", to reflect/include the fact that some people ARE, indeed, Bad People.

2. So what was Mr. Wehner Sr.'s theater of action?
Where did he serve? Or is war, so good for our country, not something that he wants to dabble in firsthand?
