The ..... uh ...... regionally similar ...... yeah ....... there ya go .......
The regionally similar senators who stopped the majority in Congress with their hissy fit ..... was it prearranged with the white house? The theory being that the white house would fund the loan but allow these FUCKING BOZOS to look like tough guys to the ignorami who voted them into office.

I don't think it was "prearranged" in the sense that they all agreed how it was going to turn out. But, when the WH threatened to use TARP funds instead, I think a lot of G.O.P. "true believers" seized on a way t distance themselves from Bush, while knowing the car companies were still going to get their loan, so they'd be unlikely to get any blame for "letting Detroit fail."
