I'm sick of her having to be "talked down" from the freakin' obvious, too.

12. I can see your point, but that's a part of what I like about her too

I've dealt with enough serious or angry people in my life and don't tend to enjoy them for the most part. Keith is great but sometimes he's a bit over the top and that might hurt his ability to reach those who don't already agree with him. He's great on detail and corrects errors quick enough, no complaints other than the anger is a bit much at times.

Rachel is as smart as they come and can smile through the anger, kill them with satire rather than with attacks. I've seen her in debate on the networks a few times and she holds her own better than most and can manage it without coming off like a jerk. She's a good public rep for us, better than most I'd think. The talking down thing is a bit overused, no argument there.

It's all a matter of taste I guess.

I love Rachel, but the cute isms can be kind of annoying. And I love that she is brutally honest/questions authority, but sometimes I wonder if she lets her negative thinking affect her logic. Like on election night when she kept saying that Virginia had not been called and that was horrible for Obama but didn't mention that all of the Democratic counties still had not been called yet. And how she was convinced that Clinton was going to take it to the convention and that would lead to the Dems losing the election. But um, I don't agree with the clothing stuff you said. I think she's very beautiful.

The last while I've gotten to where I rarely ever watch either show. Keith seems to have the same rotating guests on to repeat back what he thinks to him. That get old after awhile. I'd much rather watch Chris Matthews where even if I disagree with him or some of his guests at least I get a wider spectrum of opinions. I wish he'd quit talking over his guests tho as that does get annoying.

I love her smirk and the silly things she sometimes says. I think it gives a great contrast to the biting remarks that she is delivering at the same time. I also like the Talk Me Down segment, and I have never understood while that riles so many people up. I have never actually noticed what she wears because it is so inconsequential. Plus, the beautiful eyes and charming smile are plenty enough to keep my attention without checking out her blazer. I love her show, and I think it is a brilliant combination of funny and serious. She could put a stake through the GOP heart while making a pun and giggling about it. To me, that's entertainment!

Don't forget this is new to her. Sitting in on a discussion and having a show of her own are very different things. But you are right; Your post exemplifies the things that shine through the sometimes amateurish way she presents things. But as things progress she is quickly getting better and better at it and that is my point.
