Laura's wearing the drapes again
contrast her with the brilliant and beautiful Michelle.

1. Personally, I have to admit that "drapes" are the first thing I though when I saw Michelle.
Just my opinion. I am really not that interested in what they wear.

7. To be honest, I am not sure what "brocade" is,
but the look of it did make me think of the kind of drapes my mom had when I was a kid.

8. It was very popular back in the 60's.
Many of Jackie O's suits were brocade. As soon as I saw Michelle today I thought, "Ooh, a Jackie O throwback...sweet".

But, yeah, I can also see how it would remind you of upholstery fabric.

11. Now that I see it more closely, it looks more like lace.
Very interesting, and bold.

2. I feel sorry for her
She just seems like such a sad woman.

Also, her kitty died last week...

3. All that Botox
She's gonna start mainlining it, I swear. She makes the Stepford Wives look positively giddy by comparison.

What a tool.

5. I think Laura is dressed quite appropriately.
Just as the joke used to be that the mother of the groom is supposed to "wear beige and keep your mouth shut," Laura is wearing beige, as well. It is not her day.
