TCM Runs "Face in the Crowd" on Obama's Swearing In Day. WTF?
What's TCM trying to say by running this scathing (and very good) indictment of political personality on Obama's swearing in day? Come on, this can't be a coincidence.

and then realized it was the movie being shown on that channel.

8. Agreed. I love the movie too. Andy Griffith is electrifying in the film.
I was just a bit paranoid that the TCM management was trying to make a subtle statement by running it today.
