Shit! Citi group just dropped another 20% and is under $3 right now |
|
Edited on Tue Jan-20-09 03:25 PM by TwixVoy
Citi has dropped under $3 per share now.
Apparently CNBC earlier today was saying they may be nationalized and all the toxic debts will be moved from other banks and held at Citi.

it occurred to me that maybe "the market" or more accurately the traders and brokers who comprise "the market" suddenly realized that the gravy train of unconstrained financial shenanigans is about to derail.

and they know it. Best to say the word SELL right now and forget about having any more illegal trading, etc. going on.
I wonder how many more Madoffs will appear in the last breaths of this blow-out of the corrupt and the rich?
GAME CHECK.

they had a president who wanted to dump truckloads of money on the banks, gratis. After today, further funds might only come with review and strings attached.

Let's face it -- it's going to take a long time for Obama to turn the economy around. Things won't happen overnight. I expect things to get worse before they get better -- but, they WILL get better. Today is just the beginning.

I dropped some apples on Citibank, and my F-Advisor told me BofA dropped to 5.+ something a share & both are spectulative at this point. I don't see either going away, so............timing is everything.
