A possible threat to Obama -- should I report it to the SS?
This appeared in the comments section of the San Diego Union-Tribune.

Strangely, only seconds after I posted that Censored's post seemed to be a threat on the president, the comments section developed "technical problems".

Censored wrote on January 21, 2009 at 8:35 a.m.
freddieboy2000 stated:
"JFK, and Lincoln lacked executive experience..."

I wonder how THEIR Presidencies ended...
God Bless Amerika, and God Bless the Second Amendment!!!

5. Me too, but I really think that as a group we should not let this shit stand
It was passe during the Clinton years; hell there were bumper stickers suggesting assassination. But if you wore a T-shirt questioning Bush's policies you were considered a threat.

I think we should make a concerted effort to report every one of these instances we see.

4. That is certainly a veiled threat, and should be brought to the
attention of the Secret Service.

14. Update: Just got off the phone with the SS Agent Mark (not Mike)
I emailed him the link and the text of the comments. He said they have to take even the most offhand remark very seriously. And I just now received an email back from Agent Mark (not Mike) thanking me for the information.

20. Three cheers for the Secret Service!!!!
They can't be everywhere or read everything and I think that we all have a responsibility to report anything that hints of a threat. I'm so glad they are taking all these seriously.

Thank you! :patriot:

15. Ironically...
a week or so ago, you wouldn't have needed to REPORT this. Agent Mike would already know about it.

19. he claims to love 'Amerika'
then spells it in a slanderous manner to suggest it’s a communist regime. So what is it genius?

21. This particular poster regularly suggests that liberals should be executed.
He believes that Obama will turn the US from the free market utopia we now enjoy into a totalitarian socialist Muslim state. Hence his spelling of "Amerika". You know the type.

22. Definitely was a threat
and should be reported. The newspaper will have a record of the IP address that
came from. The authorities need to have a little chat with that person.

23. Probably not a threat,
But better to err on the side of caution. This guy's probably some 50 year old living in his 70 year old mother's garage. But what if he's not? What if he's the go-to guy for purchasing the fertilizer? Call the SS and let them make the decision -- that's what they get paid for and you'll sleep more soundly.
