Proud To Be Ignorant - GOP's McConnell Says Obama Must Be Embarrassed ...
...by the lack of GOP support for the stimulus package.

Of course, the GOP is not embarrassed about the past eight years under Bush or the period from 2001 to 2007 when they controlled all three branches of government, and simply enjoyed the benefits of an economy driven by leverage and lack of financial oversight. Likewise, the GOP is not embarrassed at how they turned a government budget surplus into a huge budget deficit. However, now they claim to be the champions of fiscal responsibility as they attack spending on energy independence and infrastucture. Likewise, the MSM will run stories about liberal media bias in order to cover up hours of coverage of Republican viewpoints, as the right wing spouts off talking points.

Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell says President Barack Obama must be embarrassed because he wanted bipartisan support in the House and the stimulus plan there passed without any GOP votes.

He says there is a lot of unease even among Senate Democrats about the bill and that sets up a situation where changes can be made.

6. Yeah, I'm sure the Pres. is just shaking in his shoes alright.
After all, who could possibly have an idea or get anything done without that GOP bunch of losers who caused this disaster? :sarcasm:

McConnell's another nitwit with a Gramm-sized mouth (big) and brain (small).

8. lot of unease even among Senate Democrats about the bill and that sets up a situation
where the Democratic Majority will pull out all the BS compromises with the intransigent irrelevant reich and pass a Democratic bill that helps only people.

Be careful what you ask for wing nutz.

10. Codependent bullshit. The GOP should be ashamed of THEIR OWN behavior!
The notion that another person is responsible for OUR behavior is the core of dysfunctional codependency. McConnell is portraying the hypocrisy of the "personal responsibility" party -- control freaks who're BLIND to their own culpability.

:puke:
