The Superbowl (spoilers)
I feel like crying, fell in love with the game of American football in about 1987, when a friend bought some videotapes back from America.

Then when a family member went to ASU in the mid 90's, I went to some cards games in the mid 90's and they became my team.

Great they made the Superbowl, just feel gutted for them right now.

It was a game with many turning points, the cards had the chance to take the lead with only a few seconds to go in the first half, but an intercept pass for the Steelers and the longest run in Superbowl history for a touchdown put paid to that.

The second half was riddled with penalties, but the cards fought back, an amazing punt, saw the Steelers on thier own line and a safety ensured. Then the cards got a touchdown for the lead, which they hold onto until 35 seconds left in the game, when the Steelers got an amazing catch for a touchdown.

And that was that. So close but so far.

A great season that fall just 35 ticks short.

Roll on next season!!!!!!

1. what a good sport you are....
but your team lost because the steelers are the nfl darlings (always have been)...though they be thugs and play dirty on most plays they get flagged almost never...(unless the thug is punching someone, happened a couple of times tonight). Anyone who watched that game and doesn't think the Cards got hosed, then you should take your black and gold off and see that the NFL is a joke. This game so reminded me of the last time this team "won" the super?bowl over the Seattle Seahawks. I really can't care about football, didn't watch a game until the tonight, but the same old shit continues. I do admire the Rooney Family, but the favoritism showed to them diminishes the whole league.

2. The Cards played great
I didn't think it'd be that close but man they didn't give up. Definitely a solid team. After all these years even though they didn't win the superbowl the Cards fans have a team they can be proud of. Now to just keep it up and build on it and come back next season and win the whole shebang!

3. Corporate America thanks you
Corporate America would like to thank everyone for watching a bunch of obscenely rich men chase each other around on a grass field, and would also like to thank you for paying attention to their commercials. :toast:
