He’s got my vote!

Hopefully he can put a “Strangle Hold” on the anti-gunners, otherwise they are going to experience a case of “Cat Scratch Fever” from all us gun owners!

Some should tell conservative talk radio that it’s The Nuge.

11. Don't forget about his becoming the legal guardian of his underage "girlfriend"
http://www.artistfacts.com/detail.php?id=44
He had a relationship with a 17-year old Hawaiian girl when he was 30. He became her legal guardian in order to comply with laws regarding relationships with minors.

3. This son of a bitch threatened President Barack Hussein Obama
and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

"Renegade right-winger Ted Nugent recently went on a vicious onstage rant in which he threatened the lives of Democratic presidential candidates Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. Decked out in full-on camouflage hunting gear, Nugent wielded two machine guns while raging, “Obama, he’s a piece of shit. I told him to suck on my machine gun. Hey Hillary,” he continued. “You might want to ride one of these into the sunset, you worthless bitch.”

Excellent choice NRA.

12. If the NRA chooses him I have a feeling we will be seeing that quote quite often.
Ted Nugent should not even by able to own a gun after making a comment like that, he should have been hauled in by the Secret Service. The NRA always talks about responsible gun ownership, for them to even think that Ted Nugent is a responsible gun owner shows us just how insane the organization has become.

When I discovered what a prick he was, I threw out my Nugent album and deleted his music off my hard drive.

10. Just the thing to make the NRA look like a bunch of idiots.
I can see him arguing gun policy in a loincloth shouting obscenities and waving a machine gun around.

Go Ted!

Seriously. the NRA deserves Ted Nugent as their mascot. A nutcase as head of this organization is perfect.

21. I Had A Fun Encounter With "the Nuge"...in 1990
He was with Damn Yankees...they had played the night before at Popular Creek, a long gone outdoor venue outside Chicago. The next morning at 5am, I walk into the radio station I was working with at the time and there's Ted snarfing donuts and cracking jokes...he was to be a guest on the station's Hunting and Fishing show. So there I was in the presence of "The Nuge"...actually he was on a roll that day (the caffine in the coffee at the station was level 10) and was a lot of fun that morning.

He came on the air answering questions about his bow hunting in specific...even mentioned a few of those "recipes" in the book you purchased...he was in his element and the phones were ringing off the hook. It was amazing considering it was 6:30 on a Sunday morning on a stupid show that usually talked about spinner baits and with no promotion...but the Nuge seemed to draw the crowd. There was no politics discussed that morning...just his love for bow hunting...and at the time, he said he had given up hunting with a gun claiming that "real men use bows".

The highlight was when someone called in and asked him if he took his wife on his hunting trips. Without hesitation Nuge says "Sure...you don't want to leave your poontang at home, do ya?" The host of the show, a Vietnam vet, turned white as a ghost and started to frantically signal me (I had the control of the holy "dump" button) to censor it out. For some strange reason, my finger slipped and missed the button (snark)...and anyway, almost everyone else in the studio was bursting out laughing...all that is, except for an elderly man...he looked around wondering what was happening...then looked at us laughing and started as well (I not sure he ever got the joke).

Cheers...
