Obama on a Dress

The catwalks of Rome were the next to be hit by Obama fever, where high fashion designers used the character of the new American president Barack Obama as one of the main motifs of their creations. One dress of “hope” was dedicated to the first lady Michelle Obama.

Designer Guillermo Mariotto, who designs kaftans for a Rome fashion house, recalls being at Times Square when Obama was elected, adding that he is a real fashion icon.

Red and beige dominate, with the slogan “Change”

1. Maybe it's just me, but that looks too creepy to wear.

4. It's beautiful.
The colors, the way the graphics swirl around the body, the sweep of the dress itself.
The eyeball "belt" is a little unnerving, though.

6. Mmmm...
It would make a nice tapestry or bedspread...but not a dress.
