it's a whiteout here. wifey took the only car today. on her way to pick me up. 8 1/2 months pregnant, and has our 3 yr old and 4 yr old with her. told her to stay home. won't listen to me. within 30 minutes it's accumulated 3 inches and counting. can't see across the street.

anyone have a jetpack i can borrow?

any other cincy dwellers enjoying the view right now?

on edit: wife got 2 blocks down the road and is turning back. finally came to her senses. lol

gotta friend with a 4X4 truck on his way to snag me.

all is well. the drive home should prove to be interesting though...

Blizzards scare me. Not the DQ drink, but the meteorological kind.

4. Sunny California
welcomes you all with open arms :) 82 today here in my town of Vista, but it's going to get cold starting tomorrow. They're predicting rain showers over the next 3-4 days giving us maybe an inch if we're lucky and highs around 60-65... I love San Diego :)

8. honestly i'm actually excited about snow, the only problerm
is that it becomes unsafe, and you find yourself stuck in these situations.

when I'm on the mountains and about to spend the day snowboarding or at least sitting at home by the fireplace; but living my day to day life in a blizzard??? No... not for me :)

12. The eastern edge of your snowstorm has reached Charleston
West Virginia now...it's pouring it down here. Started about an hour ago and has covered up my yard again. Probably snowed an inch in the past hour and it's snowing harder now. I was out feeding my wild birds and my dog and me were covered with snow in about ten minutes out there. Weatherman is calling for five more inches of snow here by morning.

14. in the last 10-15 minutes it looks like we got another 1-2 inches.
i think your weatherman hit the nail on the head with this prediction.

13. Our snow ended
Out here in my area of Washington state the second week of January. It started the first part of December and didn't stop for around 5 weeks! Temps dropped below freezing and the firs snow fall stayed, and we ended up with over two feet in my area, and around 6 feet or more in the Spokane area. I like snow, but I was plowing almost every other day for that 5 week time period, so I have really loved the break. I think it's pretty much over in our neck of the woods, and we actually have sunshine today! It's been pretty foggy for the last 3 weeks, but now new snow!

Hope your wife takes it easy in that stuff! Hang in there, spring is just around the corner!

15. Woohoo! Moved out here from Cincy......
10 years in Cincinnati was long enough. Sick of snow, sick of hot, humid summers, sick of the closet rednecks.

Here in central Calif in the Sierra Nevadas, we have a beautiful, sunny 70 degrees today. My narcissus and daffodils are starting to bloom. I'm heading out to mow grass. BUT, the higher mountains above us are within view, and lovely snow-covered.

19. yeah, cincy is pretty redneck at times. overflow from N Ky. lol
but cincy in most areas is pretty culturally diverse too. nice mix, everything from one end of the spectrum to the other.
