3. Quirky teevee drama that ended last year after a few years. Excellent
progressive remarks given by lawyers, especially James Spader. Funny relationship between Spader and William Shatner, who's convinced he has Mad Cow. I generally HATE teevee dramas, even with comedy that's sometime funny, but the progressive slant in this show was quite compelling.

9. Here's what's so wonderful about "Boston Legal"
I practiced law for more than thirty years, wrote for the first two years of "Law and Order," and this show - Boston Legal - is the one that most accurately depicts the actual practice of law.

If people only know the truth, they would live in fear of ever getting snarled up in the legal system. And yes, it really was that much fun...............

6. Three in a row!
But, "House" is on WUSA at the same time - three in a row.

And, over on MSNBC, there is "Countdown" and then Rachel Maddow.

What to do? What to do???????

The embarrassment of riches is destroying me..........

7. It always seems to happen like that. Either there is nothing at all to watch or
we are faced with a choice between three great options.
I also love House. I figure the MSNBC stuff will be repeated later...and luckily I do not have to get up early.

8. Good thinking
I'm up until 2 or 3 in the morning, so now I just have to choose between "House" and "Boston Legal."

Talk about an embarrassment of riches.

Thanks for the heads-up, by the way.............

10. I'll be watching The Spy Factory on PBS at 8
Edited on Tue Feb-03-09 07:58 PM by Individualist
"An examination of the National Security Agency, the intelligence body that intercepts communications, including its alleged failures prior to 9/11 and its eavesdropping practices since. It also questions whether the agency's approach is overly broad, as the cacophony of unimportant information intercepted may drown out critical intelligence, and features interviews with former FBI, CIA and NSA officials. Written by James Bamford, whose 2008 book "The Shadow Factory" mined the same ground."
