Republicans want more spending & want less spending Argh.
Apparently MSNBC doesn't think it's important to talk to Democratic Senators about the stimulus bill. Instead they talk to Republican senators like Arlen Specter and ask them for their opinions.

In my article about this, I noted that the three Republican senators interviewed all said the plan needed more spending. Two were for more infrastructure spending, one was for more tax cuts. But they also all say that the Stimulus package is too big. But they want to add to it. I'm confused.

Tax cuts and deregulation instituted by the Republicans over the last 8 years are largely what led us into the mess we're in right now. The Republicans say the Stimulus package is too big. They say it's too small. They say it needs more tax cuts. They say it needs more infrastructure spending. Republicans got us into the mess we're in and don't seem to know whether the Stimulus package is too big or too small. Maybe it's time to quit asking the Republicans what they think. Barack Obama was elected President and Democrats swept the House. Maybe it's time to ask the Democrats what they think about the Stimulus package.

If you read my article, please leave any comments. Thanks!

3. Exactly my point
It's so frustrating. We have Robert Gibbs (White House Press Secretary) giving press conferences every single day (how refreshing after 8 years of coverups) and still MSNBC, CNN, etc., are only interested in talking to Republicans about the stimulus bill. Haven't they figured out that we voted the GOP out of office because they've screwed the economy into the ground? Apparently not. GRRRR. Just feel like ranting.

4. Yeah, they just don't get that even lifelong gop supporters voted for Obama
due to seeing what damage the gop has done the last eight years.
