George Carlin's Mark Twain Prize for American Humor tonight on PBS

Check your local listings for the correct time, 9pm on my local station.

Carlin died a week after learning he would be the recipient. I'm glad for George it worked out that way.

3. A Great Night Of Viewing...
And damn it...my DVR is already loaded with stuff I wanted to watch...

A week doesn't go by where I don't wonder what Carlin would think or say about something. His voice is missed and this award so justly deserved.

BTW...Carlin was featured on the PBS special..."Make 'em Laugh"...the segment on Carlin along with Lenny Bruce, Mort Sahl, the Smothers, Richard Pryor and others was excellent.
