Is there a way to find out, or does anyone know what the party affiliations are for the top 500? |

I read somewhere this week where a goodly number of the wealthiest doubled their worth while George was watching their henhouse. I'm just curious to know how many of the wealthiest are Republican.

1. Check campaign contributions |

2. Many people (particulary those wanting to influence govt.) donate to both sides or |
|
give to the party which is in power (or they think will soon be in power).

3. But they almost always give to one side more than they do the other |
|
Even despite a certain party being in power. And I believe that donation records go back far enough that you'll be able to tell.

5. That's what I figured too, but I didn't know if there was a list online. |
|
Shoot, I don't even know who the top 500 are.
