Air Republica
I could care less who you're listening to or to what channel your teevee is tuned.

The Angelic Choir is in full throat warble.

Republican Talking Points Wall To Wall.

They're clearly so willing to work together for the good of the country.

1. Andrea Mitchell sure just sang her part
She just cherry picked 3 projects requested by mayors around the country for things like a golf course and a butterfly park. Neither created many jobs. It gave her Republican guest a greasy slide to put down the entire bill as proposed.

I'd like to see the list of projects she left out.

6. Add to that the "arrogant" comments, and how Cheney is now saying we are much
more susceptible to nuke/bio attacks due to Obama's policies on Gitmo. All the while, the MSM sits back and just lets it all go on. And the other big piece of crap "news" is the "Obama is down 17-19% in two weeks" meme.

Plouffe needs to get the grass-roots supporters mobilized like they were during the campaign in an effort to support the Dem's as well as to refute the absolute BS comments endlessly spewing from the pukes' ass-mouths.

7. But Look Below The Surface...
This is the only game the GOOP can play...make a lot of noise like a bunch of spoiled children. The corporate media thrives on this crap...build 'em up to take 'em down. This week is as much the corporate media attempting to dictate policy and agenda as it is the GOOP. It's currently serving both interests and thus the non-stop misniformation and bullshit.

What's not being heard is what is happening behind closed doors...where the real polling is taking place and the deals are being struck. There's little reporting on the widespread public support for the stimulus package and the many governors who have come out in favor of it. I saw Tweety try to pull Crist's chain about it the other day and he wasn't biting...on the local level, he knows that bad politics.

The buget shortfalls are affecting almost every state...and crosses party lines. The pressure is building from the bottom up to get something done and the corporate media not only isn't used to this, it doesn't like it. They see their power in decline now and want to see President Obama taken down a notch to show they still have "power". Here's hoping President Obama doesn't take the bait. Let 'em bitch...sooner rather than later, they'll either get tired or everyone will just ignore them.

9. "The corporate media thrives on this crap"
We know this yet after all these years we have NO EFFECTIVE COUNTER TO IT.

It is so fucking frustrating to watch our side look like winps and assholes in the face of the media onslaught against us.

Tell them they're liars. Deny them access. Do SOMETHING.

This shit has to end.

(Not scolding you ... just venting. :hi: )
