Card tells Obama he's not respecting the office of President
Andrew Card, former chief of staff under bush has slammed Obama for not wearing a jacket in the oval office. Seeing Obama in his shirt sleeves makes me think he's actually working but I guess the former Bush staffers aren't used to that.

1. The very, very first guy I'd go to for advice on protocols would be
Andrew Card.

3. What a stupid thing for Card to bring up.
This comment just reminds everyone how the Bush White House was a Potemkin Village. It was all a facade. It was all for show. What an asshole.

48. It's part of a serious and ongoing effort to
paint Obama as arrogant and at the same time incompetent. Unfortunately, my radio lands on various talk shows during AAR commercials and it's clear this is a concerted, deliberate effort. Look for more of the same.....

that at his first meeting at the WH after being appointed Treasury Secretary that he couldn't believe it when Bush sent the Chief of Staff out for coffee.

Do we really need to hear from Cheney about how Obama's doing in his first two weeks of office and then hear a moron like Card complain about Obama's attire. The GOP are desperate and it shows.

46. I read 'President Bartlett' and asked myself now how did I not know that the
word was out and around that Bartlett ran George.

Then I thought - the comma is missing.

Then I thought - not many people call George, President.

Just some fun.

20. This is such a perfect example of the shallow, superficial crap that BushCo thought demonstrated
respect.

Actually respecting the Constitution, Presidential powers, the different branches of government, treaties, laws and traditions followed since General Washington became the first President, etc. - that stuff was not important and easily trashed by them.

It is truly staggering what clueless idiots the Bush Administration was full of for 8 years.

26. George W was nattily attired as he led us into an illegal war,
ignored the effects of Katrina, allowed the Justice Department and the EPA to be dismantled, sold off national forests, allowed businesses to rob us blind and in general allowed or led the demise of America. With that coat on George W. could do pretty much what he wanted and look very presidential.

showed any respect for the office. He lied every time he opened his mouth. Started an illegal war which has been going on for fucking ever. Has driven the financial debacle like a run away train. Humiliated all of us every time he spoke publicly. Okayed illegal wiretapping, waterboarding and Guantanamo Bay. Called the Constitution "Just a goddamned piece of paper" - Set the bar so low that only an ameba's fart could squeeze underneath it and spent more time on vacation than any other president, ever....

Andrew Card can go fuck himself.

Card, along with Alberto Gonzales, paid the hospital visit to John Ashcroft, trying to get him to sign off on the White House's warrantless wiretaps and surveillance.

What was that about "respecting" things again, Andy? Wotta laugh.
