Reid just announced there will be no vote tonight.

They just don't have the votes, and will try again tomorrow at 10:00 a.m.

9. Lmao. Me too.
The last 3 decisions he's made I knew exactly what was going to happen - the exact opposite of whatever he says.
It's becoming pretty pathetic.

10. exactly, the repigs want to go home and hopefully they will not be
prolonging or roadblocking this bill. I think I will place a call to Harry Reid's office tomorrow, and to stop farting around with the repigs and this bill. It is too important.

7. How can we find out who votes against it?
The people of the United States need to know. Will this information be made available? Maybe someone famous could read the list on a video.

11. There are 56 Democratic Senators--what is the holdup???
And two independents who caucus with the Democrats. Even with Kennedy out sick there should be no reason why this thing can't pass NOW.

14. How many?
With 58 on our side, eight could vote against it and it would still pass--whether Kennedy is there or not. With him it's 50 to 49 (minus Franken's seat) and without him it's 49 to 49 and Biden breaks the tie.
