getting along like they used to. I watched the beginning of the show this morning, and there was some DEFINITE tension. Mikah was telling Joe to let her finish the news and Joe kept interrupting her. Then they kept going back and forth on what was appropriate. Maybe they've broken up and now have to go on-air together.

3. yeah, it was reported in a couple of different gossip columns,

one of which said that Joe's wife suspected that they were and was angry, and then he left the show for like a week to "spend time with his family" in 08.

also, someone here on DU who apparently knows people who works at msnbc has verified this. this goes along with others who have said they worked on the set who have been suspecting for a while now, so it seems to be true.

Also, gawker has been saying this for a while.

She is attractive and intelligent, though she sure went off the rails when she supported Sarah Palin, but he is a beady-eyed jerk who has also had intern troubles, left Congress because of it... And what would her esteemed father think?! :eyes:

just them together. wouldn't you want to take your spouse to a few of these parties? that set off my alarm even before it was in the papers and online. also when mikah got some women's award, who was on her arm? not her husband...joe was.

one wonders why she'd let him talk to her that way but for her to be wit him she must have low self esteem.

Doesn't make sense, since she's intelligent and attractive, was brought up knowing the movers and shakers in DC, while he's a beady-eyed disgraced former congressman with unpopular values. She's well-paid to play her "role"..She's a 40-something woman, in a field where women are tossed aside like used kleenex, as they "age-out", so while she's still attractive (especially to the 40+ male set), she's cashing in.. It's an easy gig too.....not like when she worked at UTTM, on CBS..all night long..or as a regular reporter.. she's a semi-star, and all she has to do , is play dumb-blonde, as the "guys" "explain it all to her"..then she nods and pretends to have learned from them...

i know growing up I always seemed to like the jerks. I didn't go out with any of them, though. I just found myself attracted to them. It's sad if she would lessen herself like that. because even though it's not right, if this is true about an affair, she will be seen as less, but he won't.
