Now is the time for President Obama to put aside..... |
|
...any thought of including the Republicants in any discussion of anything related to the governing of our nation. They are motherfuckers, they have always been motherfuckers, they will always be motherfuckers and given an opportunity they will always fuck yours, mine, and their mothers. This is what happens when the motherfuckers grab the message. With this lesson fresh in our mind, we must regain the momentum take the initiative and fuck the motherfuckers by taking everything they hold dear away from them.
After the debacle of 1994, a recently displaced Democratic congressman, a look of forlorn and dread on his face, turned to a camera and said, "the American people do not understand what they've done." It's about time to shine a light on what these motherfucking Republicants have done. President Obama can forcefully do that.

2. But '92 was also a congressional 'debacle' except for the election of Clinton. The country... |
|
and Congress were still moving right. The number of Republicans in Congress INcreased in the '92 election. '94 was not an isolated event.

4. I can't wait until he figures that out. |
|
So far though, he still believes he can work with them. Until he figures out what we already know, we are beyond screwed. Fuck the Republicans, hard, sideways, with something rough.

7. I think the President gave them one chance..... |
|
...and I think it was an effort to expose them for what they are. Now he can bulldozer them into a figurative sandpit.

8. That's what I think, too |
|
After his speech last night (and wasn't it amazing that the corporate media carried it?) I think he clearly showed that he was going to give them an opportunity to play nice, but he wasn't going to cave in to their nonsense. A winning strategy, imho.
I was also very encouraged that he isn't playing their dumb word games re: "it's a spending package, not a stimulus package." He cut right through the crap.
I'm an optimist, though. :)
