Should Democrats come up with their own brand of Contract with America. |
|
I know when the Republicans did it they needed a gimmick and that worked wonderfully for them at the time, but it did have some good things about it. One is Law makers were willing to put it on paper exactly what they planned to do for the people. It set a very public goal to be accomplished ASAP. Democrats appear to be floundering all of a sudden and what they are promising is changing from day to day because of Republican pressure. I would love to see them plan an agenda and put it in writing and then go all out to accomplish it. People are rapidly losing faith. At least Republicans are willing to go to the mat for their Conservative Credentials.

it's called the social contract. It just gets shouted down by the media elite. Anything not done for the masters of the universe is class warfare, doncha know?

I am sorry I have not heard all of the hullabaloo about this "Social Contract" I did about the "Contract for America" and the huge publicity push when they addressed every point on the "Contract" It was Basic and people could understand very easily what they were doing..Democrats Flounder and Republicans zero in like a laser.
