Just have to share my good news.

Three years ago I declared Chapter 13 bankruptcy. I made my last payment in October of '07 and received my discharge today.

I'm free of debt except for the house and a car. I have no credit cards. I've learned to shop frugally to the extreme and my wife and I are actually living better than we were before.

My last check on credit score was a 680. In a few months I'll check again and expect it to be mid 700s which will be good enough to get favorable financing on a single level house which is becoming increasingly necessary.

Free at last, free at last! Praise God almighty, free at last.
