Here's why Republicans are acting as though they won. |
|
Because Democrats are acting as though they lost.
Washington Dems have spent the past 30 years cowering before the party of St. Ronnie and the Bush's. I guess it's a hard habit to break.
Obama can't change this overnight, but overnight is about all we have before we fall into a bottomless economic abyss.
So, Mr. President, it's time to start ignoring the party of criminals who got us here, and it's also time to start kicking some Democrat's asses. Being from Chicago, you must know the old saying about power: "Use it or lose it."
Please write this on your cuff Mr. President: "No more Mr. Nice Guy." Ignore this at your own peril (and ours). The Republicans will go on spitting on you and no Democrat will fear the power of your office.
I'm starting to get the feeling that your honeymoon is over. Washington is a really crappy place where most politicians really don't give a rat's ass about anything other than getting reelected. It's past time to let them know there's a new sheriff in town who's willing to do whatever it takes to destroy their scams and games.

I've been waiting for this! I always believed, and yes, had HOPE, it would happen!
He gave them a chance to sit at the big kid table, he treated them fairly, tried to give them a lesson in sharing and in compromise and in meeting someone halfway... to the point where he really cheesed off some Dems... even on DU! Now he can just do it. And watching him mock their stupidity is priceless! He sounded like a DUer yesterday and I'm so proud of him!
Go, Obama! GO!

10. President Obama is letting the Republicans brand themselves |
|
The whole country now gets to see the Republicans as the whiny, argumentative disruptors that they really are.

"Because Democrats are acting as though they lost."
YUP!
Why is it when Democrats win they almost feel like they need to apologize for it?
