9. No.no, no. By God poor people need to know what it is like to
pay their way. They must be taught that money doesn't grow on trees. Cut their pay and raise their taxes!

4. I really don't like Arnold, but isn't this the fault of the legislature?
Most of what I've read said that the legislature couldn't come to an agreement on a new budget.

He wants to preserve the tax rates for his wealthy buddies.

17. this is the idiot that put the state waaaay into the hole with funding
stem cell research among other things. He can lay people off. he's rich. What does he care? His father was an SS man. That had to leave a mark somewhere.

6. When the gullible & stupid voters of California elected that guy, a common
reason was that "it would be fun".

12. I credit Jerry Brown with sending me to college ...
He was governor when I was applying for student aid
and if it hadn't been for the LIBERAL policies in
place at that time, I couldn't have afforded to go.

THANK YOU, GOVERNOR MOONBEAM!

11. Well at least Arnold
Is for the stimulus package. And a lot of Ca problems started with Enron and the energy blackouts. We were the worlds 5th largest economy before Bush took over. Now we're 7th. Not that Arnold did a lot of good for Ca either. And having to sacrafice 2 days a month off and not get paid is better than losing your job.

18. If only California hadn't fucked themselves over with ridiculous ballot initiatives
that made it all but impossible for the state to levy taxes to, you know, pay for shit. People had to have seen this coming.
