Notice that while Reid gets punk'd by the Rethugs every time in the Senate, that the stimulus bill sailed through the House fairly quickly. Granted, it helps that there are no filibusters in the House, and we've got a respectable majority that smacked the Rethugs down even though none of them voted for the bill.
She also accomplished a few things like revising the motion-to-recommit rules that enabled Republicans to block bills from coming to a vote.
