Every time someone does something to create jobs, the GOP diminishes the idea, distorts the plan and puts more energy into destroying it.
The Republican Party really is about going in reverse.
Obama nominates pro-labor Hilda Solis to be Labor Secretary.
The GOP stalls her confirmation.
The Democratic members of Congress are trying to pass a JOBS bill so people can back to work.
The GOP obstruct every effort to get it to the President for his signature.
What else am I missing?

1. You're missing nothing |
|
The republican plan is simple- sink the ship to steal it back.
Besides, ideologically, they love this! Poor people are dying, and the uppity people who DID have money will now be poor and eating cat food. They won't be happy until all of us are too poor to stop them or dead.

2. Unions: the first part of the bailout for car companies, one |
|
sticking point for rethugs was to break the American company car union workers so they'd have to accept the same wages as non-union car companies.

3. The "owners" feel entitled to a percentage of anything "workers" get. |
|
The GOP has that set at about 20%. Nevermind jobs -- it's about giving the wealthy money, too, "just to be fair."
Riiiiiightt. :puke:

6. We bailed out capitialism because everyone wants to be "rich" |
|
It ain't happening, of course, and every year more people figure out that they'll have to work until the day they die to support a bunch of assholes at the top.
I'm waiting for the moment when 80% country realizes that the system is rigged.

7. Capitalism is a ridiculous "King-of-the-Hill System" . . . |
|
based on moving the wealth and natural resources of nations from the many to the few.
You make an excellent point about Americans believing it's a fair system and they
have an equal chance of becoming rich!
