I'm pissed. Game over. Wake up. The GOP doesn't give 1 shit about America. Power & Greed. That's it.

1. In December of 2000 I was watching the news, and it was looking
bad. The hanging chads, the young rep. harrasing the team of workers recounting the votes, the lawyers fighting. I said to ask myself "how bad can it get" we have a consitution, checks and balances, elected officials who will keep law and order? All the safe guards hardly did what they were intended to do. We were steam rolled. We have to work with what we have. And that would be a whole lot of people running this country that think 500,000 is an insulting wage to work for.

2. Most of the GOP has no clue, they don't know what they're doing
They don't know economics from a hole in the ground and since it appears they are egomaniacs it's all about them. Way to go republicans, nothing ever changes with them now does it.

4. Back in caveman days
These people were given a swift club to the face when they tried to perpetrate their Republican values on the tribe.

Oh, you think you get 50 times as much meat from the hunt as each hunter just because you are the chief's son? I don't think so -- WHAP!

Oh, so you want all of us to pray to YOUR god and stop doing what we want because HE doesn't like it? I don't think so -- WHAP!

Oh, so you think you don't have to pitch in and help make cooking pots because you would rather be out hunting? I don't think so -- WHAP!

So the next time you hear a Republican talking point, remember that they are an uncooperative member of the tribe, grab a club, aim for the face, and WHAP!! :spank:

7. They claim to hate government, and want to see it destroyed.
Now, if government is "of the people" then they want to destroy whom?

8. The actions of the Republicans are all about the re-acquisition of power
The modus operandi of the Republicans has become lie, cheat, steal, oppose, disrupt and whine.

Under the brilliant leadership of Rush Limbaugh, this will lead them back to power.

10. As Long As Others Are Seeing This, Too...
I'm hearing a lot of anger at the obstructionist repugnicans...on several fronts. First, for their game playing with this important bill. People know last year's tax bribe did nothing. They also know that the jobs created by this plan will put thousands of people back to work and start turning the tables on a collapsing economy. Most important, people know this mess was a booooshie production...the end result of 8 years of his repressive regime. No posturing or fillibustering will remove these facts.

There's also an outrage that, after his acts of reaching across, the GOOP are crapping on President Obama...not even giving him a chance. While these dead-enders are trying to make points with their shrinking base, they're further alienating the majority.

No, they don't give a shit about America...never have, never will.

12. While the Nixon debacle gave me a hint,
Edited on Sat Feb-07-09 08:07 AM by timtom
and Reagan's lethal blows to California as governor made the scales fall from my eyes,
it was the 1980 election that woke me up to the full truth about republicans and conservatives.

The best of them is willfully and complicitly stupid beyond imagination, while the worst of them is satanic and full of the most toxic bile and poison (much as I am now.)

I missed an opportunity on another thread that asked, "Do you believe in capital punishment?"

My answer is Yes. For those who would allow greed and lust for power to poison the wellspring of the human experience: Yes.

17. Please call our President and explain this to him.
You'll find him easy to recognize: he's the one with his hand across the aisle for some bizarre reason.
