5.  I answered the poll about Capital Punishment.
I believe that people have little control over what they do. It is just as hard to stop a hard worker as it is to get a easy worker to work harder. I have worked seven days a week for years, including Christmas day morning. I have never thought of it as hard work. Always thought of it as I get to do it. I voted for against Capital punishment for those reasons. I believe people have very little control, although some, over what they do.

2. Worked hard. Job was eliminated.

Had to take a job making 1/3 less. So no, it wasn't worth it. And yes, something could have stopped me -- a glimpse into the future.

Next time I work that hard at anything, it's not going to be for the benefit of a huge company, I can guarantee you that.

4. Betrayal.
Basically everybody is a team player and good at heart. That is taken advantage of. Any business can count on being given the benefit of doubt from the workers. People don't even give a thought to being used, they just kick in and help.

6. Yes, betrayal
It's the reason for the "me first" attitude in this country. When we go with our natural inclination to help each other out, we're kicked in the teeth. I don't know about everyone else, but I'm easily trained: it only takes a few well-placed 'kicks' and I've figured it out.

The sad thing is I WANT to pitch in and help out -- like I said, natural inclination -- but I guess this has taught me discernment if nothing else.

Sorry for the rant, but it's still a tender spot.

7. No need to apologize for being a good person.
20 year old supply business here shut down by telling employees, don't come to work tomorrow. No warning just a lot of it's tough but we will make it, then bang, Lock the Doors.

8. I'm sorry to hear that Calchet
It's going to get better -- that I do believe. I foresee a simpler way of life for everyone, but I think that is better than what we've become. Blessings and best wishes to you and your family (and thanks for the sympathetic ear).
