I am convinced now that C-Span is Repub. controlled.
They are NOT carrying the Senate Debate, they are carrying a hearing from Friday.

When the re-ran the Madoff whistle blower hearing, at MIDNIGHT CST, there was a 5 minute
"technical delay" at the point where the Comm. was informed the SEC would refuse to discuss Madoff.
You cannot watch old hearings on CSpan now unless you have the latest Windows/Explorer platforms.

This is Sat. a day when working people have a chance to actually witness the Repugs acting like assholes, and no live coverage on Cspan.
We do get MSNBC sorta coverage, with interruptions so talking heads can spin what we heard.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrr

5. C-SPAN2 is carrying the Senate debate right now.
I'm watching Senator John Ensign-R of Nevada rewrite history blaming the 1930s depression on the Democrats and trying to continue that blame on us for this one.

11. Controlled. Coerced. Bullied. Intimidated. Parasitized. It no longer matters what and why.

ON EDIT: although in this particular instance not warranted, I stand by my commentary in general about the grotesque toady M$M.

Only the result matters.

I have always been fond of saying I thought people would have to be murdered and family members threatened or beaten to get the kind of creepy uniform media compliance insanity that we get in this nation, and the willful lies of omission and blanket shutdown censorship that we have seen on various topics.

Little did I realize, all it would take to crack the fabled American Free Press like an egg and turn in into a bunch of neutered toadies (with some exceptions, there are always exceptions) was the threat of a bad Performance Review!

It would be funny if it wasn't so tragic for human freedom all over the world.

12. I can't stand C-Span anymore. The callers alone are enough to make me wanna puke.
Every time I tune in to C-Span, ignorant Rushpublican dumbasses call in angrily and get all the time to vent, but when a Progressive or Democrat calls in and want to "vent", they're always cut off! I've also noticed that there are more right-leaning Independents than there are left-leaning Independents calling in on the Independents line. I mean, were it not announced before the call is taken which line is being answered, I would've thought ALL Independents were actually right-wing Rushpublicans.

I guess when you have neocons and other misc. righwing loonies calling in "thanking for C-Span", that should be the red flag there's something very wrong with this program. I mean, for pete's sake, they think CNN is in the tank for Obama!
