Graph comparing job losses in the last three recessions
The recession coming off of the 9-11 attacks & subsequent financial losses was more sluggish--probably because the neocons set the agenda for job growth. It took four years to get back to job par. The quicker snap back from the 1990 recession seems to be timed with Poppy Bush's breaking his "read my lips; no new taxes" promise. If anything, tax increases seemed to end the recession quicker.

The current recession seems to be in a job free fall. Meanwhile, the Republicans are pushing for more tax breaks.

2. Graphs! As if!
Pffft! You can use your precious facts to prove anything that's even remotely true. What does Rush Limbaugh say? That's the metric our popular media use and understand!
