Octuplet Grandma Calls Daughter 'Unconscionable'
:wow: :wow: :wow:

http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/story?id=6833533&page=1

The grandmother of the California octuplets calls her daughter Nadya Suleman's decision to impregnate herself again after giving birth to six children "really unconscionable" and says the 33-year-old single mother has "no means to support" 14 children.

Angela Suleman said Sunday that she's been housing and supporting her daughter Nadya Suleman and her six grandchildren by a previous in vitro fertilization procedure in a "cramped" apartment for years.

Angela Suleman said that her daughter "spent a lot of money on toys" but never contributed rent or food money and failed to tell her mother about more than $167,000 that records show she received from worker's compensation claims.

Octuplets Grandma really doesn't have a problem talking, does she?

4. Sounds likes she's pissed for a good reason...
"I did hear that she received money from her insurance,'' Angela Suleman told Splash News in an interview that was aired on "GMA." "She never told me. But I've never seen any money, not for house payments or for feeding the kids."

Angela Suleman filed for bankruptcy in March 2008, according to court documents.

I thought there was something suspicious about that bankruptcy.

(I WAS JUST COMING TO POST THIS ARTICLE!!!!!)

online Sunday.
Angela Suleman is caring for the six older children while her daughter is hospitalized after giving birth Jan. 26 to the octuplets. "She already has six beautiful children, why would she do this?" Angela Suleman said in the videotaped interview with celebrity news Web site RadarOnline.com. "I'm struggling to look after her six. We had to put in bunk beds, feed them in shifts and there's children's clothing piled all over the house." The Web site posted photographs from inside Angela Suleman's disheveled three-bedroom home, where Nadya and her brood also live. Heaps of clothing pour from an open closet door and a carpeted bedroom, where a bedsheet serves as a curtain, is cluttered with cribs.

***Nadya Suleman's publicist Mike Furtney said that his client has been away for nearly two months, so shouldn't be held responsible for the home's current condition.***

Edited on Mon Feb-09-09 09:15 AM by JeffreyWilliamson
That wouldn't be fair since she was, after all, busy having octuplets. Once she's back home, I'm sure it'll all get sorted. :sarcasm:

I'll be very interested in seeing what the Octuplets Defense Brigage has to say about these developments today.

13. Yea, I guess her publicist is missing the whole point.
Somebody has to take care of her six kids while she is off having the other eight.
How exactly is one woman supposed to be able to take care of 14 children? And what is CPS doing while this is going on?

14. Of course the place is messy
There are 6 kids under age 7. A pair of 2 year old twins, another child is Autistic.

Things are not going to get any better when mom comes home with 8 preemie newborns and Grandma leaves.

Just imagine one trip to the doctor or to the supermarket.

The mother is clearly fucked in the head Livvy and the kids are the ones who are going to pay for it.

39. Yeah I saw that
I really feel for everyone in this case. In the end the parents and any other family will probably end up caring for the children as the mother is obviously not in her right mind.

The poor kids.

I know the absolute nightmare quadruplets was for my cousins. My mother used to travel there once a week to take a few "shifts" when they were newborns. One is also Autistic.... I can't imagine them saying "let's do this again", even though they are financially well off.

There is no way for the mother to bond with all 8. I would doubt she has a strong bond with her previous 6. She has been pregnant most of the time.

They are helpless and depend on others for support of all needs. If they weren't cute lots of them wouldn't make it. It's an evolutionary strategy.

I'll bet they wish women stayed pregnant forever.

Then they wouldn't have to actually face up to their own hypocrisy.

Preborn life = good...the stuff of crusades...

Postborn life = a huge (or "hugh") problem they deal with by turning away and focusing on the next bunch of embryos.

I try to have compassion for such people on the basis that they're probably extremely mentally ill, but I still can't help wanting to choke the shit out of them.

With the state of the world, we do not need to be glorifying things like this.

We need to show the money, hard work, time, effort, frustration, sorrow and sadness that comes along with raising these children.

It's not all "Duggar/Gosselin" wonderful like those shows portray.

that I don't believe were ever answered.

When they stated that women (people) should be allowed to have as many children as they want, they were asked if it would be perfectly OK for their own daughter to have 14 kids that THEY (the grandparents) would have to care for and support.

Shit...never mind support on a regular basis...I have three grandkids of my own and Christmas just blows when I know that I can't give them what I'd like to because we're on fixed incomes here.
