It seems like if we repeat it often enough, it will at least challenge the R's assertion that the media is liberal, right? They've gotten away with murder on that one.

Even many of my "moderate", educated friends who aren't as obsessed with politics as we are, just take it for granted that the media has always been, and will always be liberal.

I don't see how we beat the corporate media, AND the RNC conventional wisdom machine (FOX, AM radio, emails) without going meta.

3. We need to coordinate our efforts like the GOP does. And repetition, repetition, repitition.
We can't just pop up every once in awhile and try to refute the idea that the media is liberal. We need to do it every day so that it's sunken in by the 2012 election.

4. Problem is, how do they do it? Through the media?
It suits the MSM to be portrayed by the right as being 'left leaning' because that establishes a baseline for comparisons that is right-leaning, allowing for even more radical rightist positions to be aired for 'balance'.

Is the MSM going to expose itself as being heavily right leaning, corporate controlled and anti-democratic?

6. Maybe we should coordinate our youtube videos, blog posts, emails, petitions, etc.
Granted, there's already thousands of us talking about the conservative media on the blogosphere.

But--there's nothing saying we can't do a better job of presenting the facts that contradict the idea of a liberal media. We can definitely work on presentation, and volume as far as this message goes.

And if President Obama was the one speaking out against the media, the media might actually be forced to carry his message. They can write off anyone else pretty easily--I definitely see your point.
