just kidding....no problem here. mortality rate is only around 80 percent, rather than 96 or something like that for Ebola.

1. Well, since that case happened over a year ago, and since
there have been no others, I'd guess the incubation period is over now.

5. 5 day incubation period.
and I think the person has to have the full blown 5th day stage to be contagious. I could be wrong.

it's not so bad, it's just the crashing and bleeding out part that really sucks.

3. A case of Ebola was unsuccessfully treated in a Chicago suburb years ago.
No one else caught the disease, not even the victim's family. These are not diseases likely to spread in the U.S. unless the economic depression really depresses lifestyles, and destroys public health.

We in Denver are morally superior to those people, so we have nothing to worry about.

Become acquainted with all the known filoviruses. Scary and fascinating stuff, especially for science wonks.
