Am I the only one here watching the Senate debate on CSPAN?
The republics are REALLY pissed and getting nastier and nastier as the time nears to vote (less than an hour).

5. Just their Top Ten plus procedural bs. All they have is to delay
and to vilify. Sessions is outraged that "illegal aliens" may get a check!

21. They're not on the floor. Know the bill will pass. This is just a temper tantrum session for the (R)

4. Ugly is the only thing they have going for them -- people try to avoid ugly.
I'm listening more than watching while I work. Isn't Jeff Sessions charming? He had to drag undocumented workers into this, lol, even though the travel trend is going in the other direction. lol

8. I'm mostly just listening too. Baucus took 15 minutes just to "correct"
all the lies told by the other side. He was good.

14. I've dealt with badgers and they are nasty, ill-tempered critters.
It suits the Republicans, but the comparison is an insult to badgers.

They are being extremely nasty, but they are not used to loosing. Here's to hoping that they get more practice at that.

I hope that the Republicans foam at the mouth so that their constituents can see what rabid crazies they voted for before they become homeless.

15. Nasty Repukliens? Why that is shocking. I'm stunned...
we wonder why. why why why?
why are they so nasty, so ugly, so vicious, so repulsive, so stupid?
maybe they are just mentally ill? sicko. bannana-whackers

that has to be it.
they are a danger to themselves and others.
and even if there are some sane repukliens, its still soooo hard to tell them apart.

well there you are. the solution obvious.
lock up all the repukliens at Gitmo.
let "military commissions" sort out the sane ones in due course (30 years).

hey, its for the safety of the country.

MSNBC carried the whole thing live, I am told.

I'm sure they are feeling his boot in their arses.

23. No, but I am disgusted by it.
I posted props to Senator Boxer for her tirade against Senator Enzi. I posted about what an a$$hat Sen Enzi is. I think Baucus is doing a good job running the bill. I believe they are voting on Cloture now.

Will Kennedy show up for the cloture?

31. Remember the little heart-to-heart that Liberman and Reed had right after the election
Joe Lieberman knows full well that his ass is worthless unless he votes pretty much the Democratic Party line for the next 4 years.

:). So far, it has gone as expected. Snow, Collins, and Lieberman Yes, I haven't heard Specter's vote yet, Kennedy is there to vote Aye. So it should pass Cloture and be voted on.
