How to Piss Off the American Family Association - 1 minute activism opportunity

On this site they are promoting a propaganda film about the grievous persecution of nice Christians by those awful homos.

Along with the film, narrated by the lovely and talented Janet Parshall, there is a survey (a push poll, actually) testing public opinion on the subject of "special rights for homosexuals."

They hope to use this to make a dramatic announcement that good, decent Americans agree with them. It sure would be bad if their pretty little survey got messed up, wouldn't it?

Sure, this is not as much fun as fighting over Paul Krugman, but if you have a minute to spare, it would be a very good thing for you to drop by the AFA site and let them know that not everybody is as hateful as they like to believe.

She hung up on me three times, but on the fourth, she finally listened to me, and we had quite the interesting theological debate on gay rights. When I brought up slavery, it became obvious she knew nothing of Christian or American history, so we left it at we had to agree to disagree and that she needed to read something. I wasted over an hour of her time, though. She was pretty ticked off by the end. :D

Look, folks, I'm not going to stop you on this. Wildmon pays for his bandwidth, same as anyone else, so if you want to load Wildmon's server up with proof Donald Wildmon is infatuated with homosexuality be my guest.

But check it out: Before Wildmon discovered the real money is in gay bashing, his big thing was obscenity on television--obscenity as defined by Donald Wildmon, He had a group of hand-picked supporters watch television shows with survey forms in hand...said "damn" three times, held a kiss longer than ten seconds, made four sexually suggestive remarks...they would then send the forms to Wildmon, who cherry-picked the results to prove his hypothesis that Hollywood was a cesspool of depravity.

So what I'm trying to say is, if Wildmon thinks America is more offended by Teh Gay than they are by waterboarding, the failed economy or war without end, he will engineer the results of his survey to say that.
