So, after Obama's strong day in Indiana, the press is foaming at the mouth to ruin him tonight.
I imagine there will be some solid-substance questions, but I have a feeling, being that this is his first real press conference, that the MSM ass-hats plan on hurling every useless and gotcha question they can think of.

I've got a feeling this is going to be a full-out assault on Obama with the goal of breaking down the success he achieved this morning. This clearly isn't a surprise, but it will be a chance for Obama to really define some of his plans, defend some of his decisions, and beat the MSM up a bit if they go over-board.

I'm expecting some questions about Geithner, tax issues, trust issues, his apology, and anything else the MSM thinks will catch him off-guard.

What say you?

1. I had the tv on for 10 seconds.
And quickly turned it off. It's toxic on the "news" channels these days.

5. Try PBS
The "News Hour" is having such a brilliant conversation about the situation in Afghanistan right now. Informed, intelligent, polite discourse. It's a real pleasure.

Cable news has lost me - expect for KO and Rachel. The others are assmonkeys, not worthy of my time or attention. I want news, not geek shows.

2. Those "journalists" are such amateurs,
and such assholes, I expect their usual giddy nonsense.

But, I also expect PRESIDENT OBAMA to handle them so smoothly and with such elegance, they'll be slightly ashamed of themselves for trying to play "Gotcha" with a man who is obviously their superior in every way.

He will, no matter what, get his message across.

I'm hoping he'll embarrass them into working harder so that they can be ready for our PRESIDENT OBAMA.

4. I would appreciate a subtle dig at Chuckie Toad. Something to turn his face red and knock him back.

3. I think you're right on.
They might even ask a couple of Monica Lewenski (sp?) questions.

6. I say he'll be able to handle it with ease
This isn't the tongue tied illiterate fake Texan boy king anymore.

He'll stuff their shit back down their throats. And what's more he'll do it with such subtlety they won't realize they've been pwned.

8. I don't doubt Obama's ability to respond with intelligence and witty, veiled snark, but I think he
will get everything plus the kitchen sink hurled at him from these ass-hats.

9. I say he starts talking in a few minutes, so wait and see....
what happens rather than start off on a negative note.

(I'll probably watch "House" anyway, and read about Obama in tomorrow's paper.)

10. Keep in mind that Obama is always the smartest man in the room.
(If I knew how to post that 'Chill' image, I would here.)
