1. It's about 45 degrees, windy and raining in San Diego. Actually I'm enjoying it.
We get weather like this too rarely in San Diego. I like the mood of it; in fact, I'm going for a walk right now.

4. Just stay away from the San Diego River... it tends to go up and FAST
and I know exactly what you are talking about. I hated this weather though when I worked EMS

11. Thanks... I am up in Kensington, well away from the river. I'm still amazed that
they haven't built some kind of bridge leading into the Fashion Valley shopping center, because that short road connecting Camino de la Reina to the shopping center is always flooded whenever it rains. You'd think the owners of the shopping center would contribute at least part towards the construction of a bridge there.

14. Well they'd have to raise the street as well
why they don't

It would be an engineering nightmare

12. I love this kind of weather. In fact I'm going for a walk in my shorts
though with a rain-proof jacket as well.

18. Now that's weird
Here in Iowa we are currently 49 and had rain today.

We set several highs today and more for tomorrow. I heard Iowa City set a record high of 57.
This is the opposite of the record lows we were setting just a few weeks ago.....I have no problem with highs in February........and I went for a walk in short sleeves today!!

15. Yes, all of January was warm, dry, sunny and not a drop of rain at our house.
We were way behind on our rainfall but these few storms are helping a lot. I don't understand why anyone in southern California ever complains about getting rain - we need every drop we can get.

16. There's still time for the water year to catch up, too. These cold storms early Feb
are great. We don't need warm storms is late Feb causing flooding.

And stay safe, everbuddy! :hi:
