NEW: Three Republicans cross aisle to help stimulus bill move ahead

(CNN) -- The Obama administration's $838 billion economic stimulus plan survived a key vote in the Senate, putting a compromise version of the bill on track for passage Tuesday.

The Senate is expected to vote on the stimulus bill Tuesday.

With the help of Republican Sens. Susan Collins, Olympia Snowe and Arlen Specter, the Democrats locked in the votes needed to end debate on the bill.

The final vote was 61 in favor, 36 opposed.

1. I wish we could flip two of these and add Franken.
Then the Pukes really would be screwed.

5. Are any of them up in 2010?

7. Why? If they vote with us anyway, then
wouldn't it be better to always be able to say we got at least three Republicans?
