I think we could use a forum for nothing but polls. I just finished doing two, and I'm always glad to do the polls to help out. It just seems like it would be convenient for all to be able to hit them up if they want without the luck of the draw seeing it pop up. This forum could apply to links to internet polls, as well as polls started by DUers.
I'm not exactly a "poll junkie" persay, but again I'm not one to resist.
Just a thought.
This would also allow those who might have missed polls earlier to be able to still chime in, or to still impact internet polls.
Anybody else like this idea?

5. thanks for the feedback. |

exactly why i posted this instead of just PMing Skinner. if it's something that would be visibly popular enough amongst DUers the admin may be more inclined to do so. at least that was my thinking.
i do have to disagree though. people look at online polls. perception is reality for most people. like a flock of sheep. if we can even in the slightest wield any influence, wouldn't it be worth it?
besides, DUer polls usually make for a good laugh.

And the little barf bag taped to his/her/its beak would be an unfortunate, but necessary, fashion accessory.

:) There are so many subforums here that are slow and don't get a lot of traffic that I'm afraid the same thing would happen to a poll forum. I like the fact that polls sort of appear randomly in the course of a day. Plus, polls are often a response to different threads happening in the big discussion forums. I'm afraid if they got put some where outside of their context they would lose their meaning. I'm talking here about DU polls.
As far as filling out non-DU polls this would go to my thought about the subforums that don't get a lot of public traffic. I'm afraid they'd get even more neglected.
