181 dead so far, and many of the fires are arson. On top of the tremendous heat there lately, now the fires. Be careful!

He, his wife and baby are living in Paddington, within the Sydney metro area. I'm not too worried about fires there, but it's still scary to see the news reports.
He tells me it is very hot, but not quite as hot as Melbourne which is the vicinity of those wildfires. He still can't wait until his work contract is done and he'll be able to come home in the first part of April. They are at the end of their summer now, so the weather will be cooling off eventually.
