Oh my goodness. Tell me someone's going to call Inhofe on his blatant lies |
|
Unbelievable. The GOP continues to spin (lie, actually) about this stimulus. About how much is stimulus, and about the size of the debt.
He just divided Bush's debt by 8 years, and then compared it to the stimulus package.
He makes steam come out of my ears. And Norah O'Donnell barely hits him on it.

1. I really think she was speechless because he didn't make any sense. |
|
Whatever he was trying to say (same old shit), wasn't cohesive at all. 10% stimulus and 90% spending? What the fuck does that mean?? Spending is stimulus. Tax fixes??

4. I guess its a reflection of republican sex life |
|
Like dave vitter had to spend a whole bunch of money for diapers and dinner and hotel expenses for just about 10% of stimulus. Surely they can relate to it. Then rush comes to their klavern meetings and whines about his transportation costs to the dominican republic. Its just one cost after another with those guys.

2. The MSM continues to Not Get It. |

That is one reason I'm glad that Obama is taking his case directly to the American people. The fourth estate has been part of the problem for a long time now.

Norah did throw the Bush deficit number at him. He said if you divide that by eight... etc.
BS. But that's what they're now driven to, I guess. The truth sure isn't pretty for them.

8. A deficit is an annual thing Debt is what is built up because of deficits. |
|
It sounds to me like he was deliberately trying to confuse the two. You don't divide a deficit by eight years. Every single year Bush* was in office the country ran a Deficit. All of those deficits added over five trillion dollars to our National Debt, more than every other Administration Combined.
