So the PO is going to raise postage once again
$.02 first of May, bringing first class stamps up to $.44 apiece. I feel like I am drowning in rate hikes..Freight charges just went up, now postage. Ugh...

2. Go buy the Forever Stamps. They are good even when the price
is increased.

4. Forever stamps are a terrific idea
A great hedge against price hikes. May as well stock up on them now, if you use the post often and have cash to spare.

I have a feeling that most of the rate hike is going to end up being paid by the spammers who send the bulk (pun intended) of USPS mail.

5. It's still a bargain.
For that price a piece of mail gets delivered, no matter where the person lives. Think about it. Big city, small town, where ever, the mail gets delivered. Six days a week.

6. Dude, it's $0.02.
They only raise prices when they need/have to. They can't just raise it a dime and not have raises for a longer time. I have no problem paying two pennies more for a letter to get where ever I want in the US.
