PBS Nova - Intelligent Design vs Evolution - is just remarkable.

Gives a deep, deep look into the teflon belief systems of Fundies - it is impenetrable. It is a useful marker for looking at the mind of many Conservatives...and of most Republicans. Their way or the highway. Scary, scary stuff. No room for science, intellect, reason, discourse in their world. It is the root of the tax cuts only behavior. It explains the drive off of the cliff behavior of Bush.

Fascinating - the smoking gun was a document that essentially replaced the term creationism with intelligent design - but same definition....so allowed them to use the separation of church and state law to nix it in the Dover school system. Showed the Int. Des. folks to be nothing but pure hypocrites (what a surprise, hey! Since a synonym for today's Republican is Hypocrite!)

They really do need their own little planet to ruin.
