1. I agree--very powerful |
|
When my wife saw what I was watching, she said "you're just going to make yourself angry."
"No, I won't," I replied. "This one has a happy ending."
For the record, Bill Buckingham seems like a grade-A asshole. I can't believe that he agreed to appear on camera.

9. That woman who found the 'cdesign proponentsists' typo was excellent! |
|
As they noted, it was the "missing link" between Creationism and Intelligent Design. Fantastic work!

Let's see, Billy Boy...
Retired cop. Yep, got the authoritarian thing down.
Religiously insane. Gawd says it, so it's true.
Drug abuser.
Coward. He runs to Florida when things got too hot for him.
He is the poster boy for Creationism. He just about single-handedly destroyed it getting introduced in any school in this nation with his illegal antics leading up to setting a legal precedent.
Maybe we should thank him.

2. I'm watching right now; about an hour into it. Fascinating. |

My dad gave me Darwin's Origin of the Species when I was 12 years old. It screwed with my head a little, considering we were devout Catholics but it spurred me to question/think on my own - made me love science.
I don't know his motives, but I love my dad for giving me such a special gift. Much more than just a book.

Showed what a bunch of fundy liars the Dover ID proponents are, and when Michael Behe was forced to admit by his standards, Astrology had as much validity as ID, was priceless.
Even Pat "Holier Than Thou for my wallet" Robthemsome showed just what an ass he is.
