One's a VAIO that choked after a couple months, the other a mini-DVD camcorder that didn't work with macs and required you to use their video editing software.

Did I summarize the central points of (and main purpose for) your OP correctly?
Last weekend, we went through a spate of similar verbal diarrhea here. It perhaps upset (and upsets) me more than most because, for the eighteen months I was locked in a federal Bureau of Prisons facility, this is precisely the kind of insightful commentary that I was surrounded by, day in and day out.
Again, nothing more than verbal diarrhea. Please stop blowing that stuff out your brain-hole here on DU. It just stinks up the place.
