The Repukes in my office know everything. |
|
They haven't read the polls, or have grasped that they are in the minority yet. Unfortunately I'm outnumbered and have to listen them break our company rules and continue to discuss "Politics or Religion". Unfortunately I've notified HR anonymously, and since I like having a job will keep it that way for now, but they are ineffective and don't seem to care. Hence it continues.
They know it all, they are always right. Just letting the rest of my fellow Dems that you are wrong. Obama didn't inherit the problem, it was caused by the Dems.

3. I used to work in a similar situation. One thing I did that help me was |
|
whenever I saw a quote or documented item of interest or even a cartoon on the internet (even DU sometimes) I would print it (taking off all identifiers) and leave them lay on break room tables, bathroom counters, etc.(when no one was watching of course). Places I know they would be seen. It just gave me a little satisfaction to know I would either enlighten someone or make their blood boil, their choice.

I am one of three owners of a small business, and the only moderate. My partners and some employees try to force feed me RW bull all the time. They are similar to your associates - full of El Rushbo and Sean and Neal Bortz crap.
I use the Cartoon memos a lot - its more of a game than trying to enlighten them since they already drank the kool aid.
Hang in there, the Truth shall set you free.

8. Remember, "bush had a pretty good economy until 2006... |
|
when the Dems took over. That evil Barney Franks and his cronies ruined ever'thing." I hear the brain-washed masses spewing this every day.

10. Good ol' Barney! How did he become the Dem spokesperson? |
|
Every R'Thug I know brings him up. 'He lied to us' you know. He needs to be off of page one for a while.

And the pathetically weak bush was no match for his evil powers. I throw that back in their faces. It usually shuts them up. They have no talking point for that yet. Hear that rushie? Chop chop, the masses are waiting.

9. We HAD the Conservative way of doing things before..... |
|
it has its roots in slavery....they don't remember reading about child labor, the Robber Baron Era....those periods in US history when workers had no rights and all the rights resided with the Trusts (corporations)??
We already had the "tax cuts" era. It didn't work. If tax cuts had worked, then we wouldn't be where we are today....

14. Haven't you heard? The all-powerful BARNEY FRANK single handedly destroyed the economy |

and FDR caused the Depression to get worse.
These folks are very very certain about their delusions.
It is like being around "Joe" the ill-informed yet very opinionated "plumber" all the time.
