Hell no.

So why are "we", the American people through the auspices of the US Treasury Department, buying these bad assets from these professional hucksters in the banking industry?

Let them fail. Let them claim bankruptcy.

If not, then say sorry Charlie. All you investors just lost your bets, the banks are now owned by "we the people" and there are new rules to be implemented.
