Do You Have A "Country Wide Mortgage ?"
Country Wide May Not Be On Your Side!

As A Realtor in Florida, when I see a Country Wide Mortgage on a Short Sale, I, as other Realtors, tell our Buyers "Forget It".

Today, my Buyers trying to get a Short Sale from Country Wide, just was informed, after an good offer submitted 6 months ago, that their offer was not accepted. Even though the comparable properties in the complex were sold with the same or lower price.

So if you are trying to buy a Short Sale with Country Wide please be ultra-patient. That goes for Sellers too.

All these banks need to be "Streamlined". ASAP

What's Up with Country Wide And, Bank America, who supposedly bought them ?

2. Streamlined?
Or do you mean "Nationalized"?

Just asking...

6. Streamlined! Meaning
properties that Buyers need to Buy or Sellers need to Sell. This process needs oversite!

These units and houses sit empty. Floors buckle, appliances mold, yards weed over, and the property becomes less valuable each day that this Bank refuses to do a deal. It's really sad and my Buyer has lost 6 months and has to start over. Shame on them. I'm also really sorry for the Country Wide Seller who is hoping for a Short Sale to lessen their liability. Good Luck!

3. Why isn't the senate and congress making Bank of America and all the companies
it owns accountable to the people? They took our money and used it to increase their own wealth.

5. Isn't the problem . . . ?
Isn't the problem the fact that a decision maker can't be located or is not designated? In other words, the paper holding entity does not have a clear command structure or guidelines for making decisions.

Basically, no one is is charge and no one has actual authority to accept an offer. My hen house has more order to it than the lenders.
